Squarespace Designer/Developer
Our award-winning creative branding agency, The Look & The Feel, is currently seeking a part-time freelance Squarespace designer/developer interested in building a long-term relationship and growing with our team.

Please note: this is currently a project-basis contract position with opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities:
Designing fully-custom, beautiful, user-friendly Squarespace websites using brand assets provided
Developing websites directly on the Squarespace platform
Ability to use HTML/CSS to modify standard Squarespace settings
Add customizations, plug-ins, widgets, connecting email marketing platforms, ecommerce set up, etc.
Ensuring website design is user-friendly on all standard devices (mobile, tablet, desktop)
Basic SEO set-up (adding provided meta descriptions, page descriptions, alt-tags)
Connecting and launching on domain
Troubleshooting website issues that come up during launch
Conducting a Squarespace training with the client via video meeting/screenshare or in a virtual meeting
Virtual meeting(s) with client to discuss website design and functionality (with our direction)
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Squarespace platform
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, Javascript, HTML5, and JQuery
Strong understanding of UX design principles
Must be comfortable working remotely
Must be familiar with Google Drive, Asana, and Dropbox
Must have a strong attention to detail
Must be organized and communicative
Must meet deadlines and be able to juggle multiple projects at once
Must be willing to learn and adapt on the job, if necessary
Bonus:
Experience and/or a personal interest in whitelabel design (less stress for you, so you only have to focus on the creative work—we take care of everything else!)
