Brand & Web Designer

Our award-winning creative branding agency, The Look & The Feel, is currently seeking a part-time freelance designer interested in building a long-term relationship and growing with our team.

Please note: this is currently a project-basis contract position with opportunity to grow. 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing cohesive brands from start to finish using the brand strategy and creative direction we provide

  • Designing moodboards, color palette, logo concepts, brand typography, and additional brand assets

  • Website design 

  • Putting together brand guidelines

  • Creating mockups

  • Icon design

  • Sourcing stock photography (no cost to you)

  • Designing print collateral (business cards, brochures, postcards, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Sketch or Adobe XD

  • Strong understanding of high-level brand strategy, industry trends, and design principles

  • Strong understanding of UX design principles

  • Must be comfortable working remotely

  • Must be familiar with Google Drive, Asana, and Dropbox

  • Must have a strong attention to detail

  • Must be organized and communicative

  • Must meet deadlines and be able to juggle multiple projects at once

  • Must be willing to learn and adapt on the job, if necessary

  • Willingness to communicate directly with client on occasion (with our guidance)

Bonus:

  • Front-end web development (Squarespace or Wordpress)

  • Experience and/or a personal interest in whitelabel design (less stress for you, so you only have to focus on the creative work—we take care of everything else!)
